Beautifully Done Thai Folk Horror... This one is tragic, and it's already spooky, and it appears we've got the most wicked of our species (teenage girls). I love how this is leaning into folklore, and now the fun begins in earnestness and with the most unsuspecting ferocity. This film has me smiling the biggest, most wicked grin I've had in a while, Thailand most definitely doesn't disappoint.

While the film builds early tension through bullying, hierarchy, and psychological fear, its inconsistent character logic and disappointing twist weaken the horror it carefully sets up. Despite strong thematic potential about motherhood and rage, uneven execution keeps the film from fully delivering its unsettling promise.
