When It Rains, It Pours

When It Rains, It Pours, centers around two guys who are both in relationships. One living his girlfriend and another living with a guy, who is his best friend, but he wants more than that. Both of the main guys are unhappy with their relationships and the lack of physical intimacy and when one sends an email to the wrong address, they start to talk and begin an emotional affair, which leads to a one-night stand, which in turn leads to their secret getting exposed. I have to pause here, both of these guys don't think. They spend all of this time unhappy and complaining about their relationships, yet neither one of them talks to their partners about anything; instead they just have this affair! After they are exposed, then they sit with their partners for a heart-to-heart chat. We learn that their partners were also keeping secrets. One of the guys learns that his relationship wouldn't have lasted due to his partner's secret. The other, a more bittersweet one, learns that there was just a misunderstanding and had he just talked to his partner he could have had the kind of relationship he wanted all along! By this point of course the damage was done. Was it a happy ending? Well, for two of the characters it was, but for the other two it ended in heartbreak. I won't spoil it and give away the ending, but again - in shows and real life, communication is key!
